This project is a collaboration.
Sofia Pacific was born from the desire between aboutmyblank and Solstice to begin a journey around music and shapes together.

JETSAM, a dark ambient project, is an ode to nature and how its sounds and secret inhabitants can form stories in their own way.
Each track depicts a step from the journey of Sofia Pacific and the urban legends related to our marine expanses, myths, or simply the common fear that drives us in front of the abyss. The phantoms, floatsome and jetsam, carrying breaths and reminiscences of the past through the endless immensity of the water.

Starting from there, we wanted to invite our musician friends to help us tell these stories along with us: from the distinctive synths of Alpiniste and Seth David Seabolt, to the bewitching melodies of Neil Watson and Alicia Wolfe, without forgetting the unreleased tracks offered to us by Astrae and Bouzouk, JETSAM imposes itself as a rich and varied sonic experience, while keeping a strong consistency in this musical journey.
